Victor Cantore
Mr. Cantore has been with Nemaska Lithium Inc. since 2011. His investment career began in 1992 as an advisor for Tasse & Associates and in 1993 he moved to RBC Dominion Securities, one of the largest brokerage firms in Canada. Since 1999, Mr. Cantore has worked with both public and private companies organizing and structuring financings mainly in the resource and high tech sector. Mr. Cantore has held directorships on the board of various companies both private and public.
Robert Schafer
Mr. Schafer is Founder and Principal of Eagle Resources Management LLC, a minerals industry advisory focused on mineral economics, geology, business development and executive advisory. Previously Mr. Schafer spent +10 years with Hunter Dickinson Inc. as Executive Vice President, based in Vancouver, Canada, where he was responsible for identifying, evaluating and structuring transactions for mineral deposits globally. As an executive, manager and field geologist, he led teams to the discovery of several mines in the western USA; as well as developing innovative strategies that lead to the discoveries in western Canada, southern Africa and Far East Russia. He has experience working in more than 70 countries, particularly Russia, Australia, China, central Asia, India, and many countries in Africa and South America. Mr. Schafer volunteers much effort to professional organizations. He is Past President and Fellow of the Canadian Institute for Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (C.I.M.). He is also 1st Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors for the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC). He is an active member of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration (S.M.E.), where he sat on the Board of Directors for a number of years. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for both the National Mining Hall of Fame in the USA and the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame, where he is also Past Chairman.
Christopher Ecclestone
Mr. Ecclestone is a mining strategist and principal at Hallgarten & Company in London as well as senior European editor at InvestorIntel out of Toronto. He is known for his coverage of specialty metals situations and commentary upon the mining sector. Prior to founding Hallgarten & Company in New York in 2003, he was the head of research at an economic think tank in New Jersey which he joined in 2001. Before moving to the United States, he was the founder and head of research at the esteemed Argentine equity research firm, Buenos Aires Trust Company, from 1991 until 2001. He worked in London from 1985 to 1991 as a corporate finance and equities analyst and as a freelance consultant on the restructuring of the securities industry. He is a graduate of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
Gerald Rayner, P. Eng.
Mr. Rayner is an independent technical consultant who has over 40 years of experience in the mining industry and has practiced his profession on every continent except Antarctica. The bulk of his time has been spent in Western North America including Mexico and Central America, in Australia and the South Pacific, including Indonesia and other parts of Asia, and in various South American countries.
Mr. Rayner's primary areas of expertise lie in reconnaissance exploration and in the evaluation of mineral properties at the earlier stages of exploration and development. While with Kennecott, Mr. Rayner was in charge of exploration in Papua New Guinea in the South Pacific where efforts during this period resulted in the discovery of several porphyry copper deposits including the Ok Tedi Mine.
Dr. Tom E. McCandless
Dr. McCandless has over 35 years of mineral exploration experience including eight years in lithium exploration. He is president of MCC Geoscience Inc. and also holds the position of Adjunct Professor in Geochemistry at the University of Arizona and University of Alberta.
